As of October 29th, 2006  I upgraded from www.qsl.net to my own server, www.ea3bhk.com, this means: less time loading thepages and I upload my logs, so now you can search your call in its.

And also, an old project has become real: http://dxinfo.ea3bhk.com this is a big database (more than 300.000 records) with DX call information, qsl managers, addresses, you can know if the DX call is good for an award (accreditted), notes, links to the web or logs-on-line, e-mail, and so on....

Who am I?:

I was born in 1959, in  Vilafranca del Penedès, a town of 35.000 inhabitants at 50Km. west from Barcelona and at 10Kmts. from the Mediterranean coast. Vilafranca is the capital city of the "Penedes" wine region and the must powerful manufacturers are Miguel Torres (wine & brandy) and Freixenet and Codorniu (cava). My QTH is in the SW part of Vilafranca.

In 1979, I become member of the Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles (U.R.E.) (Spanish Amateur Radio Association). At the same time I've got my SWL license as EA3-5799/U. Just one year later, I pass the exam to become radioamateur and the call was/is EA3BHK.

Due to my job, I've got no so many free time for this hobby, but on weekends I use to be on the air doing my favorite 'sport': DX hunting!

As of 80's, I'm member of the Lynx DX Group, and I beggan my DXCC . In 2001 I became member of the Clipperton DX Club.

The summer of 2006 was very amazing for DX-hunter, TWO (2) new entities has been added to the DXCC list:

As of 28/June/2006, the A RRL DXCC desk added "The Republic of Montenegro" (E7) to the DXCC List (#336), and as of 22/July/2006, "Swains Island" (KH8S) was also added to the DXCC list as current entity #337.

The 2007 end's year has become very amazing! We have a new DXCC entitie: Saint Barthelemey this is a little island in the carribean. It's the entitie number #338

The dissolution of the Netherland Antilles has caused changes to the DXCC List.
As per the DXCC rules, the two Netherland Antilles DXCC entities will be deleted and moved to the Deleted Entities List.
Four new entities will be added to the DXCC List :

(1) Curacao (PJ2)
(2) Bonaire (PJ4)
(3) Saba and St. Eustatius (PJ6)

(4) St. Maarten (PJ7)

The event date and time for these changes will be 0400Z, 10 October, 2010.

New entitie to add to the DXCC list: As of July 14th, 2011, The Republic of South Sudan has been added to the list with number 521. The prefix range is unknow, but the first DXpedition is using the old one and from 22 July to August 10 they are on the air as ST0R.
This entitie was already active from May 7th 1972 to Decembre 31st 1994. I'm proud to have this deleted entitie already confirmed (PA3CXC/ST0). So as from now, we have 342 entitie into the DXCC list.

At the present time, my All Time Needed DXCC is as follows:

KP1 Navassa Is.

Last 'new one' confirmed: ST0R (Rep. of South Sudan)

If you wish, you can see my DXCC PHONE and my CW needed list.

About RTTY just this inforrmation: 284 worked & 276 confirmed (I'm working on it!).

This is my Entity (mixed) summary (341 current entities):

About my rig:

My first RIG was a FT-277ZD from Sommerkamp, with inverted 'V' antennas, I log on with it my first 100 entities. Then I bought a Kenwood TS130S, some years later a TS-140S and I erected a home-made 3 elements tribander yagui antenna and inverted 'V' for 40 & 80Mts. Step by step, I rise 250 DXCC entities (mixed).

Then was the time for a linear amplifier, and one year later a bought my last one transceiver that I'm using at the present time: a TS-850S 'full equiped' with a DSP-59+ from Timewave. With it I reach 300 entities. even with this equipment, the worst area of the planet for me was the Pacific islands... and the 'solution' to this problem was to discard my old antenna and to put a new one: a KLM KT-34XA at 15 metres high from the roof (30mts high from the street). The rotor used is a G-1000S from Yaesu and computer controled via ARS hardware and my log software (LOGic).

Mr. Murphy visited me few days after to install the KT-34XA and my linear goes QRT... I can tell you I don't need it (hi..), with 'only' 100Watts and the KT-34XA, I've worked 7O(10-15-20), VK0-H(15-20), JD1-O(20) breaking the hugues pile-ups. And from now on, I use to be making QSO with several Central Pacific area stations.

Now, the number of my nedeed entities has drasticly go down!, just were the hamradio is not allowed (KP1).

I'm into the ARRL Logbook of the World (LoTw) program, so you can get the QSO confirmation few days after the contact took place!!
